Within us we all have a deep reservoir of creativity, a birthright to express ourselves in divine fashion. We can nurture that reservoir when we are free to play and flow like children, or just stand still and appreciate what’s there, around us, and be inspired or overwhelmed by mother natures grace and beauty.
But to find that reservoir and get there we have to ditch the security of the ever critical mind that never ceases to compare and judge, and instead just dive heads over toes into the school of life that foremost teaches us humbleness and later, eventually, who we really are. Once we discover our real self we no longer want to be someone else, or as Dalí said:
“Every morning when I wake up, I experience an exquisite joy —the joy of being Salvador Dalí— and I ask myself in rapture: What wonderful things is this Salvador Dalí going to accomplish today?”
We can pass on that spark of free expression to our progeny or friends, and help others to uncover the entry to that reservoir hidden beneath the surface of cognition.
Never will any algorithm be able to imitate human creativity. So let computers do the boring work, and stay true to your human heritage. That’s our task.
As the makers of hartmud are concerned we chose pottery as our school of life, as described in our story.
For us there is no greater beauty in life than earth and fire, and we share that passion through firing our clay at 1250 degrees Celsius to bring you the rarest hardest stoneware out there.
So once you start living who you really are, the world aligns to your needs and gives you opportunities to fulfill them. For hartmud it was the craft coffee league that adopted our wares for their proverbial robustness and superior thermic abilities, and today baristas worldwide swear by the beauty of hartmud.
