The hartmud Heritage collection features small batches of seasonal editions from our work history. The Heritage micro lots originate mostly from our historic sturdy line of Cappu and Latte cups that bear witness to the very invention of craft coffee stoneware in our studio in 2017.
Item: one rare hard stoneware Latte cup from our historic STURDY line, handmade and fired at 1,250°C in Germany
Specs: 320 grams // 260-280ml volume // 8,5cm high // 8,5cm diameter
Quality: vitrified stoneware ceramics, food safe, dishwasher safe, ovenproof, and 100% lead free
Materials: clean stoneware clay without basalt spots, glazes, heat, 100% sourced and made in Germany
ATTENTION: The Heritage Latte cups are NOT from our current TANK collection but from our historic STURDY line, so while the quality is the very same and the signature Hartmud edged bottom is present, the overall shape differs slightly. With 320grams on the scale and 280ml volume the Heritage Latte cups don't come as heavy as their TANK brothers and are a tad more generous in volume.
Attention: The oystergrey glaze might have some black or white spots, which is a result from the glazing process and no reason for any claims
Caution
Our tableware comes without handles on principle of design and our genuine aesthetics, so for the use of our tableware we advise to pour only liquids with a temperature you and your guests can handle without risk of scalding. We do not take over any liability for injuries, which arise from the use of our ceramics.
Disclaimer
Before ordering our products please refer to our Work Standard on hartmud.com to learn about our quality and ethics.
With complete disregard for mass-production we have chosen to build handcrafted unique and highest quality tableware that bear the signature of the maker through their distinguishing irregularities.
So while you can expect superior handling through the raw unglazed bottom surface and high thermic abilities through our high temperature stoneware firing, you accept the uniqueness of our ware.
This means every item may have some aesthetic flaws, and when buying our products you happily accept the occasional wrinkles in the clay body, the randomly applied glaze edge or uneven glaze coating, the occasional marks from our hands or instruments, the minimal deviations in the shapes of our design language, and that the raw unglazed bottom may scratch highly polished surfaces such as stainless steel.
Hartmud is clone free, and the imperfections make up the character of our vessels.
Please be aware that our policy of returns states that the customer bears the cost of shipping back unwanted products.
All that in mind you will certainly head for the right personal decision to become an owner of Hartmud rare hard German stoneware.
